Vacation :)
Well, here I am taking my vacation. I had to work on Saturday, so I took Monday off to compensate. I'm in Williamsburg, letting Er regale me with "interesting" diversions into Employment Discrimination. Yeah, I'll earn this law degree as much as he will. In fact, if I actually listened, I might even pass the bar!
Eric also keeps apologizing to me for subjecting me to baseball. We actually listen and watch less baseball than I would if I had my way because he is constantly worried about subjecting me to it. I don't understand, by the way, why there are NO day games anymore. We're listening to the Minn/Detroit game, which is the only game on prior to 7:05 tonight. Weird...
This also made me feel very happy.
I also hate Chevy Chase Bank. Again.
Well, here we are...
I finally have my blog actually publishing on my own hosted website. More of my webspace still to be built, but I'm young, and there is still time.
But two little commentations before I go back to work...
-For those of you that didn't know, yesterday was my birthday. in some ways, it was an ego crushing experience and a reminder of just exactly how much more emotional stability work I need to do. in other ways, it was a beautiful, fun and entertaining day - I had a wonderful group of people over the night before for margaritas and trivial pursuit and i went to the reading and had water ice the next day. i guess i was just surprised knowing that angela and molly were the only ones to call me. that includes my parents and grandparents :). i got one e-card, two ims, one gift, and my grandparents deemed me too old to get a card on my birthday. i dont make a big deal out of birthdays at all, but it is nice to know that people are thinking about you. i didn't get that from most people yesterday.
-i want a digital camera, because i dont have any pictures of myself or anyone else at all. im going to get on that.
